William Whitecross is recorded as working between 1824 and 1840. John Sim Rae was a co-worker of his. He appeared to have at least two marks, one with and one without a pellet. He is shown in Jackson’s with a Toddy ladle and a sugar spoon ascribed to him. These tongs are typical Scottish Fiddle pattern but with plain rather than shell bowls.
