Antique Georgian silver sugar tongs

Joseph Hicks was a well-known and prolific Exeter maker.  Jackson's records him as being registered between 1780 and 1835, (when he died).  Two of the pairs of silver sugar tongs are fascinating in that they are identical in every way and have an interesting octagonal bowl.  This is an unusual style but is curiously seen with several other makers, including London makers.
