This is another gorgeous pair of sugar tongs. They have a fascinating snaking pattern that extends right through to the bowls. They are blessed with an elaborate engraved monogram "W". From the shape of the Lion & Duty mark, I have dated them at c1797, slightly later that the others because of the clipped duty mark. These tongs have the rarer maker's mark, in the rectangular punch with cut corners.
