Edward Lees entered his first mark on 22nd February 1803 as a Spoon-maker. His second mark was entered on 30th June 1806 and was rectangular with a cut corner to the top right. These tongs are bright cut engraved and although the maker's mark is a little rubbed it does appear to be the mark with the cut corner to the top right hand side therefore dating them between 30th June 1806 and 29th May 1807.
