Elizabeth Taylor was a famous lady silver-smith.  These sugar tongs are superb.  They have the distinction of being completely un-damaged.  They have lovely clear hallmarks and a nice engraved monogram.  Cast silver sugar tongs of this quality are very rare, especially made by a lady silver-smith.  The quality of these tongs considerably increases their value.
