George Collins registered his first mark on 6^th October 1800 as a small-worker.  He registered a second mark on 28^th January 1804.  The first mark was in an oval, almost circular punch and the second was in a rectangular punch.  There is nothing unusual about these tongs.  They are very similar to many other antique Georgian silver sugar tongs.
