This page gives some examples of Hester Bateman silver sugar tongs covering the period 1786 to 1790. i.e. where only the maker's mark, the cameo duty mark and the Lion Passant are marked.  I have deliberately shown examples of unusual or rare tongs.  Most Hester Bateman tongs were flared and bright cut.  Those shown here are examples of other styles she made.
