Antique Georgian silver sugar tongs

Simeon Coley I entered his first mark on 27th September 1761 as a small-worker.  He also appears as a buckle-maker and entered several marks as a buckle-maker.  Simeon Coley I was Hannah Northcote’s father.  These tongs are a pair of cast silver sugar tongs.  They have the maker’s mark in an oval, without a pellet which means they must be dated after 4th August 1780, which was when this mark was registered.
