I have dated these tongs at c1786 - 1790 as they are marked with the Lion Passant, the duty mark and maker's marks.  They are standard style tongs with the Prince of Wales feathers engraved on them.  This was quite a common feature of the Stephen Adams tongs as there are several with the Prince of Wales feathers engraved on them.
