Thomas Dicks registered his first mark on 4th May 1792 as a buckle-maker. He entered several other marks as a buckle-maker and then entered a mark on 9th July 1811 as a spoon-maker. Clearly when he was working as a buckle-maker he was making other small items of silver at the same time. It is believed that Thomas had died by 1832.
