This pair of cast tongs are delightful.  They have the usual Adam style engraved shoulder and lovely acorn styled bowls, with a very distinct nipple.  They are in excellent condition, with no repairs and are a lovely example of cast tongs at their best.  As with the other Thomas Wallis I cast tongs, they will be dated c1765 - 1775.
