This is a pair bright cut engraved tongs. Again I think it likely that they have been engine turned due to the evenness of the engraving. They have a squared and concave bow and are in excellent condition. They are dated the latter half of 1804/05 (between 11th October 1804 and 28th May 1805). This can be discerned from the clipped duty mark. The duty mark was clipped to denote the increase of duty.

They are 5.1/2 inches long and weigh 38.3 grams.
