William Knight II & Samuel Knight entered a mark together on 24^th January 1810 as small-workers.  T is believed that they may have been brothers.  On 8^th February 1816 Samuel Knight & William Knight each entered marks on their own.  Tongs by these makers are very rare.  This pair is completely plain with a monogram “L” and are dated 1812.  The bowl is slightly "spade" shaped.
